What’s the real life risk of oral sex, it appears ( in my very limited experience) that most don’t get tested?

Preston

Just go to the NHS website. Search ‘oral sex’ and there you go. Reliable accurate information

Downham Market

Or go to SH:24 who have all the info you could need about all the main STIs and if you're in the right area offer a free home testing kit

Oral is low risk but not zero risk, you can still catch chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes, and HPV from oral and he doesn’t necessarily need to cum in your mouth for you to catch these and most have no visible signs.

The only thing you can do is minimise your risk, make sure you are regularly tested so if you do catch anything it is caught early and treated. You can also get yourself on Doxy PEP which helps protect against some of these. Your local SH Clinic can talk you through all the options for vaccinations and preventative measures. They are incredibly discreet and non judgemental so you can have a proper open discussion with them.

At the end of the day you have to decide the level of risk you are willing to take.

This is a dating site not a sexual health site. Given the amount of time wasters on here would you trust them not to lie to you.

If you from a ladder would you consult a gay dating site about a possible broken leg or the NHS.

To keep yourself safe and more importantly your potential partners safe from STI consult your local sexual health.

They are professional NHS doctors and nurses who are non judgemental and make it their purpose to keep you safe.

Look up SH24 and follow their advice, be a good person and keep everyone safe.
