Im not in anyway as in circuit bords soldering etc I can wire a plug set up musical instruments with amps threw other things.

Ive got a project I removed the speakers from my old tv when the tube died a bang and olufsen so they were worth saving. I basically want to turn them into usable music speakers build boxes to house them but they both have a wee amplifier attached so they would need a power supply.

Any help or guidance would be great cheers guys.

North of the Tyne

You need to find the part number and look up the wiring diagram for that particular speaker.

Once that's done it's just a case of getting the right power supply and some way to get an input to them.

It should be fairly easy to do.

I made a fairly meaty Bluetooth speaker out of a couple of Sony 6-9 car speakers and and small amp from eBay.

Nice little winter project for you.

Ditch the on speaker amp and go directly to a external amp

If you copy and paste your complete post and put it in Google search you will get a very full set of instructions. I did this and the answer I felt was way to long to post on here, but it is there completely what to do, step by step
