No worries - this isn't everyone's favourite scam from over there. Just curious about it. I've blocked dozens of Fazzads and Hassams and Mohammed's who have been very kind and immediately affectionate for no reason, and been blocked by dozens more when I respond with either scorn or humour.

Why keep going with a scam that surely must net very little reward for the effort that must go into it? Does anyone really think a Dubai hunk picked them out of a panel on a gay hook-up site because he wants to start a new life in the UK, with a bit of temporary financial assistance, natch?

It must work or why do it? In my stranger moments I keep thinking of saying I am Igbo Zamunda, exiled nephew of the former president of Nigeria. and would be happy to help them if they could help me invest my oil millions....

Who I feel really sorry for is that probably at some point a genuinely scared genuinely in need person escaping from a repressive regime will show up and wonder why nobody wants to talk to him..

Hamza adores me. Every few weeks I have "Just browsing the profiles and came across yours.."

Reverse image search states a Prince with the Dubai Royal Family.

Sometimes I play along for a bit. Often throwing it back at him when he asks for mynumber that I'm not always online and lack credit. Bwahaha.
