Waxed is ideal, I get it done 2 to 3 times a year if im lucky, shave in-between. But if you are going for a wax you need to leave off shaving for a good few weeks before.

Shaving is better. If you wax, you have to leave it alone for a few weeks before you can get it done. With shaving you can just do it in the shower each morning.
