Best

Considering the appalling state of the pitches compared to the carpets today, the light balls, boots etc plus the no tackling from behind it’s an easy decision

George Best the most naturally gifted footballer of all time. Balance, awareness, work rate and sheer brilliance. Altogether a very decent respectful young man.

Sadly with an inherited serious alcohol problem

I'm not quite old enough to remember Pele, Cruyff was the man when I was a kid!

Maradona was brilliant but a relatively short career.

I've flip flopped over Messi and Ronaldo, but the last world cup sealed it for me, Messi was mesmerising and this done at the world cup as a veteran player.

Messi for me
