"Your not allowed to try on lingerie in shops for hygiene purposes " Is there anywhere where you can just have a chat about what you need? Like, I know how I want to look but I don’t actually know what the items are called!

Well I guess you could ask anywhere really, depends if you've got the balls to have a conversation with someone working there. And also you need to know what size you are (in womans sizes) to know what to buy. Personally I'd try amazon first and see how you get on

"I’m really wanting to try dressing in lingerie. Ideally I’d go somewhere and try some on - I’ve never bought it before or worn it, and need some advice. Does anyone know any good shop in the south or midlands that is worth a visit for someone just starting up like me?" Take a look through the M&S website they have an excellent range and you can find out the sizing and names for the styles of panties etc that you like. You can also order online, so no need to risk a bad reaction in store.

They simply bring it to you in a basket for all to see. But if you use a food hall as the collection point then they will put it in one of their secure delivery bags. But other than that, I agree. M&S are the best place to start as they have a wide range of knickers and bras, at mid-range price and quality is fine.

"Get to know your girl size first. The big retailers are good. Asda do some nice lingerie for not much money as do Primark, and the quality is surprisingly good. Online is great, Temu etc do some nice bra's that fit well and lots of different styles of panties too. Happy Shopping xx" This is great advice. Buying online can disappoint you as the sizes vary. Temu and anywhere from China (e.g. lots of ebay) is far too small, even if you take advice from their size guides. Primark tend to come up small, so buy bigger. Use size guides from places like M&S to find your girl size in cm and inches and then it's a bit of luck. I'd always err on the side of "go larger" than you think you need. Also, lots of companies deliver to lockers or collection points, so you don't have any embarrassment if you don't want to be seen buying. Happy shopping.

"I use Vinted for purchasing lingerie. Usually very cheap and delivered to lockers which is great for discretion. Sometimes I get the sizing wrong…but if you’ve only paid a couple of quid for an item, it’s okay. Plenty of stuff has been absolutely perfect and the anticipation of receiving it and trying on is just horny in itself " Just had a really near thing with Vinted, local locker was out of order so Evri delivered to my home address, bloody good job the wife was out!
