Never really thought about it. I spent years in the hospitality trade and if we needed to recruit we had to advertise for Bar Staff/Waiting Staff. Did sometimes joke about barpersons and waiting-persons. I still use the term actress and I daresay a good many females in the acting world still do.

As long as we are all respectful to each other regardless of someone's status, then I dont think the vast majority give a dam what they are known by or called. Sadly mass communication and the ability to hide behind it has given an opportunity for some to simply stir up hatred and create division for no better reason than likes or clicks. Calling someone who acts an actress really is at the arse end of the world's problems. I be sure someone sheltering in a cellar short of food and water hoping the next bomb. hasn't go their name on it are sat there, going oh did you see Emma Watson was called an actress! How very dare they!! Whats the world coming too!
