It’s difficult to say with certainty as each hotel is different, but in my opinion I can’t see it being an issue. Been through many hotel receptions to meet in the past and all I’ve done is made it look like I’m meant to be there and I’ve never been questioned

It should be relatively easy, hotel staff really have seen it all before. As long as you’re discreet and don’t inconvenience the other guests you should be just fine.

I do this a lot with my fuck buddy, we have stayed in hotels all over the country without any issues.

I generally look for hotels with no key card lifts, just walk through as if your meant to be there.

Just meet the guy in reception or bar and take him to your room.

"Just meet the guy in reception or bar and take him to your room."

This, yes, unless your colleagues are likely to be around depending on timing. Country house hotels rarely have key cards for lifts or security/fire doors so give him your room number and arrange a time.

I did this in a hotel in Tunbridge Wells, worked ok.

Its often the parking is the problem ,as a lot of hotels now require you to enter your vehicle reg. X

Any hints as to roughly where in Cheshire this hotel might be? Asking for a friend 😇

Just tell them to walk straight in, if the need a key card meet them at that door. Most hotel rooms are usually for 2 people even though you pay for 1

I had a hookup up a few months back with a fella from Birmingham. He was working in Cwmbran.

Twas a Best Western but all pass doors everywhere. He just called down and said a friend was coming. I doubt he said a fuck buddy.

Reception let me in easily once I gave my name.

Us as the perpetrators often carry the guilt. Hotel staff don't know or don't care.

People flow in hotels are so transient the staff see thousands of people a week, just be the grey man and not memorable.

Make sure you add reg if needed lol

Had a few hotel meets as used to travel alot with work. Most have just met outside and we've all walked in together no problem.

One meet we had was 6am as it was the only time he could get away from his Mrs as he normally went to the gym at that time of the morning before work.

We all just walked in and past reception, and they didn't say anything, even though there was no one else around lol

And yes it was worth the early start lol

That said way back around 2010 I was in a Travelodge off the A1. Saturday night in September.

Being more of a working hotel the bar was deserted during the evening and was sat alone having a pint and was just me and the receptionist.

A guy in jeans and a tshirt came down and bought a cheap bottle of champagne - minutes later a dark skinned but very glamorous woman arrived who was clearly a working girl . The contrast was jarring indeed as they walked to the stairs.

I looked at the receptionist and she just nodded confirming what i thought, adding they do see it regularly.

I meet in hotels regularly, unless you need a key to get past reception you will have no issues at all.

Ive had plenty of hotel meets and 90+% are no problem. Some Premier Inn you need a door card to get through reception, awkward when I'm upstairs getting girly lol. Most are easy but I had a really good meeting with a guy only to receive a message 10 days later that he had got a parking fine and it's my fault?

A lot depends on the size of the hotel. Posh country hotels tend not to have that many rooms plus hall staff on duty who would innocently greet you or a 'guest'. Larger hotels not a problem as lots of people milling about so, providing your guest knows the room number, no one would take a lot of notice.

I have visited a few hotels without issue.

(If card locks are in place then the person I'm visiting leaves one out on their car tyre)

I always ask directions to the room and arrange a cover story. That way if I'm stopped (never have) I can say something like "I'm here to see Mr XYZ to drop off some work keys".

The only slightly scary moment is when you leave and there are cleaners about - you wonder if they heard anything...but that's thrilling in itself!

.

I meet my current partner in various hotels multiple times a week with his work - no one cares really. Just meet up and walk in - all this comes up to my room stuff is only going to make a problem in reality.

Spent more nights in hotels than I care to remember, the main concerns for the hotel are security and safety of their clients, hence the door key card locks including the lifts. If you arrange a meet just go down and meet them at reception or in the bar, you have to swipe to get to your room so the staff dont care if someone is with you. As for the cleaners well they have seen it all lol If your fucking in the daytime then a chance they come in or hear you. Again do you care?

Meet people in reception and talk to each other as you go to the room- the hotel staff will not bat an eyelid.

I just walked into one near work the other day.. (it was actually a few years back now) nobody batted an eyelid.. that I saw.. I managed to scale the floors.. no challenges.. sadly the guy never did give me an actual room number..

.. in the end I just had to walk back to work.. no cock.. it was on here we planned it.. his loss

Hopefully they change the sheets every time someone checks out anyway. 😀
