I like looking through the pics, profiles etc and always notice the age preferences. You often see 18, 20, 25 to 55 for example, is that basically shorthand for I want younger but at a push would settle for 55?

To be honest I've had a few offers from younger than the age I prefer 45+, but I haven't met them due to the fact I'd feel uncomfortable with the age difference and no common ground in a conversation. Much happier with people my age.

Agreed - common ground is easier to find with guys in a similar age group. I’m 58 and prefer 40 plus

Around my age and older seems to work best for me, and I feel comfortable with it. Young- whilst sometime beautiful to look at doesn't work for me connection-wise, and thats whats paramount to ignite that spark.
