We've been in Catania, on the east side. The only place really is Codice Rosso. A lovely cruise bar with extensive dark room. Better during the weekend than during the week. I (the younger one) sucked off a handsome older man while my partner watched through the gloryhole and then fed him the other guy's cum through the same gloryhole. Good times!

Depends where you are, Sicily is a huge island. If you’re on the south east coast Spiaggia Marianelli in the Vendicari nature reserve is a wonderful gay/nudist beach with a lot of fun to be had. It’s on the outskirts of Noto. Went there often when I had a place in Noto. Be careful when parking a rental car near the beach though, they often got broken into. Love Sicilian men, sexy fuckers. Have fun.

My experience is that you’ll never see it. Tourism is a much needed source of income, it’s very safe. I’ve been 3 times in eight years and not once been made aware of any activity.

And it is a wonderful island.

I agree, it is a wonderful island, one of my favourite places in the world. Hence the fact I had a home there for over a decade. And I also agree that as a tourist, you are very safe. But as a homeowner that was involved with the local community, and all that entails, organised crime, and the general amoral familism that the political scientist Banfield writes about that comes with it, was ever present. Trust me.
