I read it on the BBC sport website first. Liverpool are a shadow of what they once were, look at where Arsenal now are after showing some faith and standing by their manager.

Chelsea have done pretty well over recent decades and they change manager a lot.

I didn't enjoy going to the games and watching the style under Slot.

He did seem a nice guy though

OK i know fans who go regularly say football has been crap under him but he did have what 4 or 5 big new signings to try and bed into a style but theyve all been out injured at various points so how could he ever get a fluid style of football going?

For some reason i just dont think Issak will kick on at football.A bit like Torres when he went to Chelsea and couldnt find the net with a map and compass.

Le Bris had 14 new players to bed on and didn’t have a problem he also lost 7 to AFCON so I don’t for one minute take the view that Slot can blame the above

Just my view. But...

You couldn't really work out the plan.

Sure, we would commit numbers forward, but not to any real effect.

We would play out from the back really slowly.

There was no fight in the middle of the park. The opposition midfield could attack without a decent challenge going in.

Few managers will get the resources to spend that Slot was given. He had his chance.

Fair points but did Slot get any say on signings or did the club buy them and told him to make it work?

I do think he had lost the players and certainly a lot of fans but people want miracles and NOW orsooner.

Shadow bit over the top but Def struggled for a team of their calibre.

Not sure how much winning was on him though and more to go with the team that had been built up before?

Not sure if he had a full chance to build a team he wanted
