I am on Day 9 of daily PrEP and find it is making my ass tingle at the entrance. Has anyone else had a similar/same experience with PrEP? It does feel good though!

PREP does not cause this. You either have something, or you're overstimulated by toys or playing with it too much.

Yes, though a very rare side effects PrEP can cause anal tingling because of nerve sensitivity.

Other causes of anal tingling could be:

Rectal STIs, Irritants like douche, gel, laxatives or bowel prep etc.

Please see your GP to get the correct diagnosis and treatment

Sometimes anal tingling can also be a symptom of hemorrhoids, anal fissure, allergies.

Doxy is event based, so take 2 pills after sexual contact, can be taken up to 72 hours after the event.

no problems with PrEP though I take it on demand. Also take DoxyPEP after sex to reduce risk of stis. Have had all vaccinations too. I think I would like a tingling sensation without an erect cock causing it !

Had a complete set of STD tests on 22/6/26 all clear. The anal tingling stopped about a week afterwards.

Prep doesn't have side effects such as tingling. You're either overstimulated, or you have an STI.
