No dialogue just Morricone's score building the tension for 8 minutes as the protagonists eye each others movements,the camera flicks between eyes,hands,guns before the inevitable conclusion.

Starman. When Jeff Bridges has to return to his alien craft to return, when Jennie Hayden asks if she will ever see him again, he just says no. The fantastic music by Jack Nietsch playing, magic. My favourite film of all time.

I worked at a cinema when it was showing.. and I was forced to watch the end dozens of times as I waited for people to walk out of the screen.. It left a mark on me!....
