There is a lot of intellectual stuff there, so forgive me for lowering the tone,

My tastes are more Clancy, Cussler, Baldacci etc..

Over the past month or so I’ve just read the entire Alexander Hawke series by Ted Bell… Quite enjoyed it, although by the later books I thought the story lines got a bit far fetched, and it became a bit predicable.
