And some will even deny the very existence of "objective facts". That's what is happening in the US right now.
I still remember when Trump - who has a loathing of Obama - insisted that more people turned out for his own inauguration than for Obama's, despite clear contrary evidence. His "counsellor" Kellyanne Conway defended the statement by referring to "alternative facts".
