Ask this question in the feedback forum, you might get a better answer.

But generally messaging is blocked because you have used a banned word.

They restrictions normally only last a few hours though, sometimes a couple of hours up to 24 from what I've read on previous posts.

Ironically I've just been blocked from sending messages. Someone asked about a website, I replied, not with a link but dot com at the end. Blocked.
