If you received a message on here from a guy you had recently 'played' with, and he told you he'd tested positive for a STI. Would you 'out' him as a slag?.. Would you say 'thanks' for letting me know?.. Would you ignore him and block him?.. Your thoughts would be appreciated. Oh, and before you ask, I'm not asking for a friend lol.

Cheers guys, I get tested every 3 months, am vaxed to the hilt and I take prep and doxypep, but... hey ho, it happens dunnit. Glad to hear that guys are cool about it.

You thank the guy and you play your part. Assume you are infected, and dont resume sex until you are tested clear. Doxy does not stop you being a transmitter. Its a shame more guys are not like him.

Happened to me with a lady on Swingers - thanked her, and went and got tested, took the pills and carried on as normal after they'd done their job.

Telling others shows taking responsibility for sexual health - my bigger concern would be people that either don't get tested at all, or who do and don't tell you if something flags.

Happened to me. The fella could have just as easily said nothing.

I'd spent an afternoon edging and blowing a guy and a week later said he'd tested for chlamydia.

With the week passing and trying to secure a GUm appointment, 2wks passed. Was negative, but I was very grateful for the notification.

We are all adults. A risk we take.

It has happened to me a few years ago, l let the guy know. Luckily being sub I hadn’t passed anything on and we have met since.

Though another time after being in a club with a Dom top guy I was staying with, I had to let him know about finding a louse in my pubes. He was furious and blocked me. We were both clean before. Being hairy it’s something I check for regularly.

I have been on both ends of this, both as the receiver and sender of message. As receiver I have thanked and got tested.

As sender I had some polite thank you messages, and some very abusive! 🤔

I've had this happen before both ways. I've just let them know. It's up to them what they decide to do after that. I've always thanked them for letting me know and booked an appointment to get tested, followed the process and then carried on as normal after that.
