Has anyone else had issues with some of the side effects being persistant. Not the sexual side, as all that seems OK. More the excessive sweating during physical activity and the tiredness. Detrimental to my work which is hard, heavy and high risk. Just curious at the experience of others.

I've gotten lethargic a lot lately but not sure if it's the Tamsulosin build up.

Tried stopping it but urine stream becomes spray like instead of tap flow

I’ve had no issues other than the amount I produce when coming.

When in the day do you take it?

I take mine a couple of hours before bed as the consultant I saw suggested your symptoms as a side effect and said not to take in the morning

Been on Tamsulosin for at least 3 years. Could account for my lethargy. Even with them my urine flow is not good. A mixture of spray or dribble.

Since they started seeing people who pay them (private health care insurance) ahead of those with a medical requirement! The NHS is all but finished, we have a health care system where you get treatment if you pay or use the third world NHS and join a queue! The 1947 NHS started in the UK by a socialist government was a gold standard implimentation admired by the rest of the world! Torys and the medical profession have fought to destroy it ever since.

Every week at least 50 people fail to turn up at my surgery. Time that these people who don't turn up or notify the surgery are told in no uncertain terms it's not acceptable.

However, just recently the surgery has stopped sending reminders but these failures are not because of that

Neither true. The Tories [who actually drew up the blueprint for the NHS during WWII] have never tried to destroy or dismantle the NHS. Blair was more likely to do that.

Whilst I, like many people, are concerned about illegal immigration, are they really getting preferential treatment and preventing the indigenous population getting NHS treatment? Where I live there is hardly any immigrants but it is still almost impossible to get doctors appointments. Also a lot of NHS staff are immigrants or of immigrant descent.

Might have an affect. Following an inguinal hernia repair I only had dry ejaculations for a long time. Coincided with first being prescribed these pills. Even now only produce a small amount of liquid which is more like pre-cum than actual cum.

Did I read something about retrograde ejaculation? Sounds like this medication could cause this. Your semen goes into your bladder rather than ejaculate. You might notice your wee is slightly cloudy when you next pee.

I have that problem.

A few years ago, a treatment was carried out, on my prostrate, in hospital.

They cored out my prostate, via my cock.

Better flow of piss now, but result is, no sperm ejaculated.

I still get the full sensation of cumming, but nothing comes out.

I just have to accept that.

Been on Tamsulosin for about 3years now, after trying various others.

After a few weeks noticed two things. All my body hair started to fall out. Left with hair my head (such as there is), reduced beard growth and pubic hair. Everywhere else, and I mean everywhere, has now disappeared, certainly not complaining at the results. Not even any round my nipples, armpits or cleft.

Other thing is that my ejaculate started to reduce in volume.

Plenty of precum and no difference at all in sensations etc but now when I orgasm I don't ejacualate anything.

Feels a bit more girlie not to produce spunk and see it shoot out but regret not being able to give a guy a creamy mouthful.

It's what oppositions do. The blue print was drawn up by Henry Willink, a Conservative MP and health minister in the wartime cabinet. True not as extensive as the NHS created by the Attlee government.

How does this work then, i recently had a flyer from SAGA Insurance guaranteeing me prioity appointments with my GP and hospital appointments if i take out a health insurance policy with them! They blatantly guarantee you can jump the NHS queue if you pay them a subscription every month! So where did my health insurance policy go and 49 years subscriptions from myself and my employers? Private health care should be banned in the UK, everyone who has subscribed to the NHS rich or poor should have the same access based on medical need! Paying extra to queue jump should be made illegal... it just pushes someone poorer with a more pressing medical need further back down the queue! Disgraceful!!!

In the 1946 GE the Tories fought the Socialist Labour party tooth & nail to prevent the introduction of Nye Bevans NHS... Thankfully Labour won! Oh, incase you didn't know, Blair and New Labour were rampant Tories!

Your surgery is sending this message because the UK's Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) issued updated national drug safety alerts for finasteride and dutasteride. The MHRA took this action to ensure patients are fully informed about rare but serious mental health and sexual side effects, and understand exactly what to do if they experience them. Why Now?Following an extensive safety review, the MHRA mandated updates to the official product information and patient leaflets for these drugs.Psychiatric Risks: The warning that these drugs can cause depressed mood, depression, and, in rare cases, suicidal ideation has been clarified and strengthened. The agency specifically noted that these mental health symptoms can even persist after the medication has been stopped.Sexual Dysfunction: Warnings have been strengthened to note that sexual dysfunction (such as erectile dysfunction, decreased libido, and ejaculation problems) may also persist after discontinuing treatment.Dutasteride Addition: A precautionary warning was added to dutasteride, as it is in the same class of medication as finasteride.Regulatory Updates: This guidance follows up on previous patient-card initiatives, prompting surgeries to directly notify patients. What the MHRA Advises You to DoFinasteride 1mg (for hair loss): If you develop depression or suicidal thoughts, stop taking the medication immediately and contact your doctor.Finasteride 5mg or Dutasteride (for prostate enlargement): If you develop depression or suicidal thoughts, contact your doctor right away.Sexual Dysfunction: If you experience a decreased sex drive, difficulty achieving an erection, or ejaculation issues, consult your doctor for medical advice. You can read the full official MHRA Drug Safety Update for complete details on the alerts. If you have any concerns regarding your prescription, you should contact your local GP surgery for a review.

Good point re Blair whose answer to earlier problems with the NHS was to give a blank cheque to contractors for 30 years, hence, in part, the current problems.

Blair continues to provide us with solutions to everything off the top of his grinning deathmask, and his latest thoughts on the NHS involve a good deal of private treatment and a lot of AI.

Coincidentally, the biggest donors to his lobbying scam, the Tony Blair Institute For Global Change, include AI megacorps:

https://everydoctor.org.uk/talking-points/tech-giants-private-healthcare-and-the-tony-blair-institute-following-the-money/

...and he's been punting AI for all he is worth for years.

Glad I found this, not the political hijacking but the information people are sharing.

Been on Tamsulosin for a month now.

Certainly helps with pee flow but can concur with other guys problems.

Lower sex drive, fatigue, headaches, tiredness and of course no where near as much cum as before.

Just getting repeat proscription and going to change when I take it. At moment breakfast but will change it to evening.

Have to say "dry orgasm" ain't my idea of a happy endings but hey I've had a good run.

Wanked to some porn the other day and end result was a clear sticky liquid seeping out my cock. And hardly any.

Old age can be shite guys.

Happy Fabbing
