My thoughts are with the victim and his family.

I’m starting to think that these random atrocities are funded from overseas and are designed to create local tensions and conflict.

On one level I agree with you but what does the government gain by creating racial tensions in the country?

Reasonable excuse to introduce mandatory biometric Digital IDs with widespread facial recognition camera systems on-street, the former of which could be demanded on the spot 'because if you have nothing to hide...' if the latter fails to make a confirmed identification.

Et voila, we are communist dictatorship China.

I take it you'll all be out protesting about the high murder rate of women and girls in Northern Ireland mainly by someone they once loved, over 30 in the last 5 years highest rate in these islands.

Never attribute to malice that which can be attributed to incompetence. Our opticians just don't have the first scooby-doo about how to run things out the consequences of their actions and inactions.

Didn't the government promise to stop the boats, hasn't done, thereby creating tension, racial or otherwise ,especially when awful crimes are committed..UK homeless on streets while boat people put in Hotels

( Metropole - Blackpool front for example).

Tensions sadly inevitable..

I dont know the solution,I once thought Kier Starmer did..

There’s protests planned tonight in several cities in the UK. You can guarantee that the far right will be there causing trouble and stirring up racial tensions.

This creates instability and uncertainty in a fractious society and I think the far right are probably funded by foreign powers who are trying to undermine the very fabric of our society.

I’ve just seen a post about that 😬

It’s worrying times ahead and unfortunately I can’t see them all being peaceful protests and doubt the Police will unfortunately get the brunt of it all 😞

I’m all for people protesting peacefully but it’s the ones that deliberately go out to cause trouble and attack the Police that I have no time for whatsoever it’s bang out of order and I hope anyone who does cause trouble is dealt with robustly as possible

But the black guy beheading people isn't? You're an absolute clown. An absolute fucking weapon. "

Calm down and consider the wider picture.

What happened last night is a tragedy regardless of the ethnicity of the attacker. There’s a very real possibility that the far right has been infiltrated by, for example, Russian spies. Having divisions and a fractious society is part of Putin’s plan to undermine our country and Europe as a whole. It’s working.

It is not in the interest of any government to stop the racial tension.

They relish it. That's why they tried to create the same kind of tension and hatred towards people on benefits.

People are generally unable to see where the real threat to their livelihood comes from.

It doesn't actually come from people who are poorer than you.

The real thieves and criminal threatening your quality of life are the politicians' friends: the rich entrepreneurs and company owners who sponsored the politicians' campaigns and to whom the politicians made promises they now have to keep.

If our politicians had spent public money on roads, hospitals, schools etc like they are supposed to do, there would be no grounds for fearing asylum seekers.

Asylum seekers do not come here to steal from you. They are not the reason prices went up. Neither are the people who rely on benefits.

Even though there are exceptions here, the foreigners you love to hate do not commit more crime than people born in this country do.

But the politicians rely on your inability to see the facts, and while they make you believe that the most vulnerable people are the danger, they steal your money.

Like when they use public money to give you "help with the cost of living crisis", while their mates who own energy companies can still charge over the odds for their services.

Has Donald Trump not shown you what this is all about?

If it’s not part of a wider problem, why has new legislation been placed before parliament today aimed at addressing this problem?

Have a look at the National Security (State Threats) Bill, it’s all linked.

My take. There are things the current government can do, and things that are seemingly beyond their control.

They don't know much at all about these asylum seekers who arrive by boat. Throw in language difficulties, and you have a difficult mix to police pro actively.

The government can respond to the protesters. They are typically from here, and it's possible to find out theur identity, home etc .

A cynic might argue that it's politically easier to be seen to be doing something about the latter, if not the former.

If you put all the seekers in a big guarded camp you might be able to contain the dangerous ones amongst them. That's not an easy political sell though.

Albanians are less than 0.2% of the UK population but represent 1.4% of the prison population.

Albanians are offending at 7 times the rate you would expect.

A white British woman was jailed last month for attacking and attempting to behead a kurdish barber on the street in Bristol.

There was no rioting about that public attempted beheading.

People are able to be shocked and horrified by these abhorrent crimes without resorting to rioting, when there isn't incitement to do so via social media.

"Def agree, normal people are fed up with the lack of government action on illegal immigration and the promises to send back the boat people."

Normal people in that case a sheep who believe utter ... Rubbish.... When they are told it.

The boats are not why the economy is dying. They are not the reason the NHS has been poisoned. They are not the reason wages have stagnated for thirty years. They are not the reason Britain pays out more money to foring investors than it takes in they are not the reason the UK finance industry is reliant on laundering dirty money much of which maintained the bubble in domestic housing.

They are not to blame for the sale of every significant domestic strategic asset and production unit in the country which has allowed the remnants of empire to be asset stripped like a junky offspring selling the family silver for the next quick fix.

If your kids can't afford a house or have only crap jobs available to them and can't get a dentist,

It is NOT the boat people to blame. Farage and the Tories and the dinner club elite absolutely are despite what their press and papers would have you believe.

If you relied on your next pay check for your food, you have far more in common with some opportunistic desperate guy wading through the surf in Dover than you do with Mr Robinson and Badenoch let alone farage or Starmer.

The far right have manufactured an environment where horrific individual acts can be used as justification for violence against innocent people. They get to pick which individual horrific acts they deem worthy of their violence. They do not care about the victim of any horrific acts. It's all a facade. Everything they pretend to care about is an ulterior motive for 1 thing - they hate non white people and want non white people to perish.

The resistance will come. Protect Britain ✊

Totally agree. The country has been asset stripped for donkeys years to primarily pay for the public's expectations in terms of public services. The next step in asset stripping is either reduction in spending, or bankruptcy. It matters not one iota who is in government, the situation is always the same. There are simply too many people to be comfortably self-sustaining. Either expectations need to drop, or the number of people needs to drop, or a combination of both. Its not a situation unique to Britain. Its very easy to focus on immigration as that's what the public sees in their neighbourhoods.

There's two separate issues in play here...immigration is one, the other is a bit more complex.

Farage said when that cop kil#ed Sarah..."don't blame all cops for the actions of one,and don't blame all white men for the actions of one...or words to that effect.

A little bit different than what's he's saying now.
