Hi folks. First time posting and looking for advice on the topic of premature ejaculation, especially from sufferers or ex-sufferers.

Recently I've been lasting anywhere from about 10 seconds to 1 minute. It's feels like an oversensitive gland from the very second I'm fully hard and I feel ready to come almost instantly. This has only been happening the last few months and before that I could always last between 10 and 30 minutes.

I have had some health issues and there is a lot of stress at the moment so I'm guessing it's a mixture of physical and mental factors.

Has anyone had a similar experience of PE? What did you do to combat it?

Thanks in advance

I've had it all my life , so you have my sympathy , I cope with it by becoming a voyeur enjoying watching others , it actually means I get no real pleasure or satisfaction from a climax ,, so at a stage where it no longer bothers me , although difficult for those who don't have it to understand , as the previous poster suggested have a word with your doctor , they may be able to help ,,

"Visit your G.P."

That is on the cards.

What I was looking for was people's experience of it, what worked for the., what didn't work, causes and effects etc.

Consider trying Viagra if your med situation allows. It may be that for some reason, (mental or physical) you’re initially getting hard at a slightly higher level of arousal than you previously did.

I've tried Cialis along with EMLA cream and got mixed results but I think a doctor or sex therapist might be the best route.

I was just interested in how others would cope with it. I've tried Kegel exercises but I've had proctalgia fugax for 20 years and the kegels make it flare up

Hmmm it’s tricky really. It may be mental. I have an issue with either not getting aroused or taking ages to come. I’ve been long like for as long as I can remember. Only once I suffered from P.E with one guy when I met up with him and sat on him in his car. Maybe it was the thrill of it made me very quick. It wasn’t physical for me.
