Absolutely Brutal ending it hit bloody hard watching it

Although it’s only fiction it still showed how hatred can be a very very dangerous thing and all because someone has different views or has a different sexuality and unfortunately it still shows up even in today’s society

Very hard hitting drama that was well written and brilliantly acted

Could be wrong but I found it a bit surreal and over-the-top. Compelling viewing just to see what happened, especially with all the flashbacks and flash-forwards. Didn't think it showed gays in a very good light.

It was very well acted.

A good script, I can't deny albeit some flaws

But

I can't say it was enjoyable.

It was full of characters and situation that were a mileau that's not condusive to my nature.

The ending was sickening.

The mother aggressive and enticing lies.

What woman would put up with all those yobs in her house?

The very aggressive "I'm not gay but only in my fantasies" Clive.

The older son deliberately feeding his father regarding the gays coming on to him. Surely he knew what his father was like.

The irresponsible use of media and posting of pictures knowing of the problems going on

The yobs

No neighbours bar one witnessing murder.

The hey ho attitude of Leo and thinking he's sorted stuff.

Yes, over the top drama but deeply unsettling

Is it a warning or enticement?

IMO humbly.
