A few steps from my bedroom. Work these days is moderating my home town's page on Facebook.

As close or as far as my laptop is from me at that point in time. I've been a home worker since 2019

North London (outer)

When I was working full time it was about 7 miles on London Underground.

I'm now retired but still work a couple of days a week but only if I fancy the job, and it's paying well. The jobs I take are mainly one-offs, and usually in London, but sometimes I'm paid quite a lot for travelling all over the UK, and even further.

With my last job 33 steps as I had a flat that went with the job. The home I actually owned and where I spent my days off, was 97 miles away.

Since I sold my business it’s as far as the walk from my bed to the coffee machine in the kitchen!

I do a couple of days a month as a paid consultant but that’s on my terms; if it involves a commute of more than 20 minutes I turn it down. Working on your own terms is fantastic!
