Mine were bothering me in bed, last night.

Sort of cramp feeling in lower legs, around ankle & a bit above.

Took some time for it to clear away.

I used to have it bad, research thinks it’s MH related, like an extreme anxiety thing, weirdly I used to take anti anxiety meds and that’s when it started, once I stopped taking the meds it went away, I used to kick the hell out of my GF in bed at the time , also I stopped the meds and started micro dosing herb , seemed to solve the issue for me .

Quinine sulfate from your GP, failing that tonic water, although the amount of quinine in tonic water is actually quite low but it might help. A warm bath before bed, avoiding caffeine after midday, ensuring you have enough iron in your diet.

If you suffer regularly, you might want to review any medications with your doctor as there are several that can be responsible for it, such as but not limited to SSRIs, SNRIs, tricyclics, etc.

I watched a programme and saw a guy who had to put a table leg on his foot to get relief from it! Made me feel really sad for him ;( must be awful.

Slightly different subject, but you know when your foot goes to sleep? Why don't we call that coma-toes?

This may sound daft but it really does work.

A bar of soap, with deep scores in it. Place it at the bottom of the bed near your feet under the bed sheet.

The magnesium within the soap is released due to your body heat. It's a good remedy for cramp also
