I’m guessing I’m not the only one on here who makes hugely irrational choices based on sex drive that would astonish people that know us in our regular lives.

Sometimes things that happen through this site are the things that make me feel most alive, I wonder if there is something about me that’s wrong, or whether lots of other people have hidden sides.

Not really a question just sat on my own pondering, I really should get out more, anybody wants to talk please feel free to chip in or message.

Don’t think I take risks (as in with sexual health) but I don’t think anyone in my regular life would believe that a few weeks ago I was in all fours on a guys bed with a towel over my head being fucked by the guys who’s spare room it was.

Neither of us saw each others face

Sex drive/appeal can over-rule rational decisions. I confess that last year I had two builder quotes. One from an unattractive guy in his late 50s with an irritating whiney voice. The other, and a bit more expensive, from a very sexy looking guy about 30 with a good personality. So I went for the younger one even though it cost me more and I knew full well nothing even remotely sexual was going to happen.

The irrational decision making is driven by dopamine addiction, sex and sexual play in all it forms is being driven by dopamine addiction, be that drug, alcohol, gambling, porn or yes sex. Dopamine is a nuro transmitter and when it swaps our brains then the rational decision making part of our brain stops working, we become more subseptable to risk taking, we find ourselves taking more far more risky behaviour in the pursuit of our initiator sexual gratification, be that meeting strangers, sexual play in public, non protective sex or for some heading toward more extreme sexual practices and interests. Post orgasm when the dopamine subsides, does rational return as with any addiction.
