Going down there later this week, do any locals know if its really busy for parking during the week, want to be near the Gate and not walk for miles. Do you think about 10am would be ok

Studland beach

You do need to walk. You can park in Sandbanks and get the ferry and walk.

Park on the road and take the path that brings you out in the middle of the naturist beach.

Park in the National Trust carpark and walk along the beach.

They are your options

I anchor in the bay and dinghy to the beach. No walking

Park in Bournemouth and get the 50 bus to Swanage - it jumps the ferry queue and stops right at the path.

Always faster than driving in the summer.

Added bonus but the bus will have a fair gew guys also going to the beach so a chance to check them out
