what possesses people to do this is beyond me, my son was at a Festical last night and some fecker thought it would be funny to spike his drink, spent the rest of the night in the hospital, 3 hours unresponsive and erratic heart rhythm, thankfully he’s over the worst of it but still feels quite week.

Honestly though, what are these brain dead fucks thinking!

yeah they done tests but said they wouldn’t be able to identify exactly what it was cause streets dr*gs are made up of all kinds and wouldn’t be able to identify it, thankfully though his blood work did come back normal so no long term effect, just gunna take a few more days to get back to 100%.

I had my drink spiked at my first gay bar I went too. Luckily some friends found me struggling to stand up and speak coherent words. They took me home and kept an eye on me to make sure I was on. I don't go to bars anymore and keep away from that whole scene.

Someone spiked my drink at a club in Surfers Paradise when I was backpacking back in 2000.

I can kinda remember aimlessly wandering around and ending up at the harbour. Looking back I scare myself thinking what I'd have done if I'd fallen in.

I can remember passing a phone box and it was one I'd used earlier in the day to phone home. I had tiny keyhole vision and managed to get back to my hostel. I slept for nearly 27hours.

What a scary thing to happen for the victim, their friends and family.

Happened to my niece a few months back, she's a young mum with 2 kids. The perpetrators of sh*t like this don't really think about the potential consequences of their actions. Some perpetrators think it's funny to see someone struggle through their stupid actions. If my niece had died, and it happens, there'd be a 2 and 4 kid without their mum, and a broken-hearted dad struggling to cope and make sense of it all. It really needs to be tackled more seriously.

I hope the son of the OP makes a full recovery.

That’s awful. I’m glad he’s ok.

I had it done to me at uni and it screwed my head up for months and months after. I didn’t go out, couldn’t trust anyone, really did a number on me once the initial fuckery was over.

While I was at uni too I got spiked, I know who did it too. Two girls they used do it and bring the guys back and fucked them. Obviously as I'm gay nothing happened. I woke up on the floor of my digs on a Monday after going out on a Friday. I also got stabbed with a needle, I was lucky they stabbed quite a few people that night before they got to me. They were HIV positive. Luckily I didn't catch anything.

Some people are just messed up in the head.
