"Perhaps it's time that RTD explored gay life outside the boundaries of Canal Street Morrisey was good, the end was predictable and the stereotype gay characters were all there." Correct. I watched it and was intrigued by it and would probably watch it again. But I did find it rather over-the-top and stereotyped. Is this what gay life is like in large cities with 'gay villages'? Had a feel of the 1990s about it rather than today. Not many likeable characters in it either. Didn't like Leo at all and that Melba was the worse kind of a gay stereotype as perceived by straight homophobes. | |||
