Listening to Farage moaning about the new party thdt has crawled out of the woodwork even further to the right of him puts me in mind of the old refrain :

Big fleas have little fleas upon their backs to bite em

And little fleas have smaller fleas and so ad Infinitum

Nigel has form for stabbing people in the back, politically speaking.

Anyone who out shines him is in danger. He has to be the centre of attention.

Rupert Lowe was just the latest in a long line. Most just crawl away quietly but I think he picked on the wrong one this time.

I heard it reported that a reform canvasser said we are struggling here when I knock on doors we are either racists or not racist enough ,, farage needs the racist vote simply because of the numbers ,it gave the Brexit referendum, then ukip then the Brexit party and then reform a baseline start in any election , reform really need these votes if they go somewhere else it will be a big loss

"The racist lable that gets hitched to anyone we don't agree with ideologically.

Calling out racism is only tiresome to racists. Twenty eight former school contempories of Farage have complained about his racist behaviour including antisemitism. Not one,not two, but twenty eight of them. Farage recently welcomed Lucy Connolly on to the stage at his Conference. She is a woman who called for pogroms in the UK when she incited people to burn down hotels full of people with a different skin colour. As I say calling out racism is only tiresone to racists.

Reform are toast with Burnham at the helm. I bet Farage will step down as leader of his Party before the next election. I am sure he has no desire to be PM and especially now someone has put 5 million into his grubby paws. He has history of abandoning his political Parties. With Burnham in charge he will be well and truly exposed for the phoney he is to those who cannot still see clearly.

Has anyone seen the BBC interview by Sally Nugent today with Mr Farage.

It was about the £5 million personal gift he received from a reform donor, Reform also got £9 million previously.

He was annoyed, said it was nobody's business.

Should he have explained fully were the money has spent?

Farage appeals to peoples baser instincts. His anti-EU rhetoric had racist overtones. East Europeans flooding the country and taking OUR jobs. Then he dangles a few carrots like raising the tax threshold to 20,000 and cutting tax on fuel with no sensible plan of how to achieve this. Look at the Reform run councils. Wild promises of council tax cuts yet CT has gone up and essential services have been cut back. He has a very clever and very stage-anaged way of convincing the gullible.

I'm surprised that no-one on here will stand up for Farage. Most of the comments are absurdly rude and stupid. He's just a politician. Get over it. He has every right to accept money, that's how we finance this stuff. When he accepted money he wasn't even an MP. That's not corruption. His policies are mostly sound and might help to delay our extinction as a nation.

Think you may need to go along to A&E to get your tongue extracted from your cheek. He's all talk and no do. His main platform is 'stop the boats' but that is easier said than done. Would need a large merciless majority in the HOC, over-ride the HOL and Supreme Court. Withdraw from the ECHR amongst other things. Take 2 to 3 years to enact. Plus his 'policies' towards the NHS, workers rights, human rights, pensioners etc aren't exactly friendly.

I cannot stand the man. I’m increasingly thinking that he doesn’t particularly want to be PM.

He’s used to spouting lies and causing division and mayhem, however he’s very charismatic and a great campaigner.

But, when he gets questioned and interviewed about things he doesn’t like, he gets very tetchy and aggressive. This five million “gift” is not going to go away.

If he becomes PM, he’s going to have to be able to answer awkward questions that he can’t squirm out of.

That’s why I’ll be surprised if his ambition of becoming PM is ebbing away.

If he goes, reform are finished. Thank god.

350 million for NHS on the side of the Brexit bus.

Inflating migration figures. Wildly criticised as wrong. Linking asylum seekers to crime. Wrong. Well below average

Breaking point Brexit posters

Southport riots, encouraging people to set fire to hotels with kids in.

Supporting far right facists, particularly Germany.

Crypto lies about a particular company who is a donor that he’s promoting

£5 million bung from said crypto CEO which started off as a “Brexit gift” then it was a “party donation” then it was for “private security”

And that man was the same man that shrieked for Starmer to resign over free pair of specs and a new suit.

I dunno if anyone here listens to James O Brian weekdays on LBC, a normally centre right radio station but he’s very controversial in his views.

He’s very spot on in his analysis on what’s going on in this country. Everything he says is fact checked so he knows his facts.

It’s worth a listen.

I'm not saying he's solely responsible, and I never did say that. But what I am saying is that he thrives on it. He loves the adulation that the lesser informed, usually racist, more narrow minded in society afford him. He also loves the fact that the press seem to love him, but he doesn't realise they only love him because they think they run the country, and with him in charge they probably would do. Anything for a headline. But nobody likes a Prime Minister, hence the reason he has no desire to be one.

Farage eventually walked out of the interview with his balls capped in his hand and his finger up his arse.

James took him apart but methodically and measured.

As someone said earlier, it’s a masterclass in journalism and presentation.

Opinion polls are fickle and unreliable but the Faragites are not doing as well as they were 12 months ago. 33-31% then, 27-25% now. Mrs Badenoch's popularity ratings have gone up, as have Rupert Lowe's. Farage's has gone down. Andy Burnham is about to enjoy a honeymoon period. Hopefully the Faragite bubble will burst

Sadly that is the problem. Farage's whole appeal is based on one phase 'Stop the boats'. And yes just about everyone right, left and centre wants this. To hell with his shoddy little party/cult's other measures like scale back the NHS, human rights, workers rights, pensioners right, gay rights etc etc.

Plus how successful would a Reform government be doing this. First they would need an enormous Commons majority. Then legislate against the House of Lords and the courts. Withdraw from the ECHR and various other conventions we have signed up to. With the way government works at the moment this would all take a minimum of 2 to 3 years unless they effectively suspended parliament and imposed a Nazi style dictatorship and imposed draconian measures.

Trump is 80, overweight and loves junk food, but has never smoked or d*unk alcohol. Farage does both the latter: he can talk a good game, but looks elderly.

Come the next (probable) election date, Farage will be of retirement age, and won't be any fitter or younger. Imagining him taking on the impossible demands of being PM as an old man without senior political experience is laughable.

Well it has not been"explained" to me countless times and I would not except that it it was. The 2024 general election was one of the most negative. The last 2 or 3 years of Conservative rule were chaotic and people were fed-up. They wanted change for changes sake. 34% of the popular vote translated into a massive and unprecedented majority for Labour because the opposition vote was split. Farage helped Labour win traditionally Conservative seats by splitting the vote. So it wasn't a case that people saw dull-as-ditch-water Starmer as the saviour of the country. He just happened to be the leader of the party that won most seats. Some of his MPs polled less than 30% so hardly a ringing endorsement.

Without Farage I have little doubt Labour would have won but with a far smaller majority.

His 'party' has peaked and he's in trouble. This lying grifting motormouth has fucked the country since he entered politics.

He's the national front in a suit, paid by Russia and their billionaire friends.

Why has there been so much chaos and instability in politics? The answer lies in the Donbas and Crimea as Putin began an disinformation war to collapse western structures of power, to allow his imperial quest to take Ukraine and more.

That's why two-bit extremists have been funded across Europe. Farage is part of this.

"I can’t believe after the mess labour has got this country into"
What mess would that be or is that just what GBNews keeps spouting? They inherited a totally wrecked economy which severely limited what they could sensibly achieve. They still managed:

Renters Rights Act

Employment Rights Act

Free breakfasts in primary schools

Knife crime down by 10%, homicide rates lowest since 1977

Hundreds of family hubs reopened in England, supporting parents and children

Erasmus student exchange programme reintroduced

Introduced a Pride in Place fund for nearly 300 areas in England, giving residents a direct say over how the money is spent in their area (this is helping my area)

Net immigration reduced. Net immigration now at 171,000, the lowest since 2012

On the downside, WFA was a massive misstep and their comms on getting their achievements out there has been woeful although the press being largely against them c/o their owners hasn't helped.

If Burnham is so brilliant, why did his Labour colleagues reject him as party leader twice. I think on one of those contests he came third or forth - he was even eclisped by Millband. Also the hideous economic mess that is brewing because of the burgeoning cost of welfare still has no answers as the untra leftist MPs are really in control.

Uvavu.

The time frame in which he received the ‘gift’ puts it within the time frame prior to entering The House during which all gifts above a certain threshold must be declared. This to to help ensure that those funding the journey of someone to The House is not found to unduly influence them once they are inside of it.

If someone from “Big Dildo Inc” funded me £20Bn and I became Prime Minister next month, then I immediately made sexy toys tax exempt, gave a big injection of cash to the sex toy industry and invited them to build a big factory in the green belt and pump pollution into our waterways with no penalty, that might be seen as a corrupt conflict of interest.

You see?

So, funding (gifted, ‘earned’ or sporadically resting in your account from a Russian oligarch) shortly before you enter The House •does• matter and is an interest of the Committee of Parliamentary Standards and potentially the Police.

Thank you for attending my TED Talk.
