Loads of iced drinks and j bought my daughter a little pool for grandkids its not bad round and 3 metres across been over her house in the pool drinking (fruit drinks)I don't drink alcohol and drive so pretty good day all in all. xx

Just had a cold shower. Lying on my bed now with a fan about a foot away from me. I'm lucky in that my room has 2 windows in opposite walls so I can sometimes get a bit of air flow which cools it down nicely. Not tonight though 😆😭

I read somewhere yesterday that a doctor suggested to wrap ice packs in cloths and put them under your armpits or near major blood vessels as a way of cooling your body down He said that’s what they do in hospital if someone comes in with heat stroke

I use a plastic spray bottle filled with chilled water and set the nozzle on minimum. Then pull the trigger and a spray a fine mist upwards and as it falls back down you receive a lovely cooling sensation. It’s also good for cooling down your pets.

Close all the windows once the sun starts to get warm and close the curtains on the south side (back) of the house, don't reopen the windows till the outside temp drops in the evening. It's a comfortable 20/22°c in the house during the day.

Big bath towel on a drying rack - soaked in water and partially wrung out. Big 16" fan on a stand blowing air at it. I resoak it every hour or so. Using it now - room's cooled 1/2 degree in 30 mins. It'll cool 2 or 3 degrees during the day.
