Would you wash your dishes with cold water? Warm water will get the crap out easily. Suppose after cleaning yourself out then you can use cold.

Yes cold water would cool you. Hence why ice straight out of freezer isn't the best idea. Major blood vessels in pelvis quickly change temperature. Be careful.
