Avengers infinity war tharnos gets all jams and power coz he thinks he doing good thing by halving population in whole universe etc...but he as ultimate power why didn't he just double planets with plenty of resources in universe then no one disappears as plenty to go around with click of his thumb also avengers would not kill him...its the script writers not thinking it through..any others films tv shows with simaller stupid plot holes......?

Thanos didn’t double the resources because he was driven by his obsession with being "proven right" and a fundamental belief that infinite growth on infinite planets is unsustainable. He viewed his genocidal plan as a permanent, universal lesson rather than just a temporary supply-and-demand issue

That’s not a plot hole. That’s you disagreeing with an antagonists viewpoint. And the scriptwriters just adapted a storyline from the comics so it’s Jim Stalin you have beef with lol. To be fair in the comic Thanos is also motivated by his want to impress Death, but they left that out of the films.
