Rose tinted glasses. I say the same about the 1990s. Things were way worse than these days lol.

People just didn't report anything back then. People have very short memories.

" I do. Cut off the blood flow to the thighs and you could camp out in the flares. Lots of them on TOTPs in the 70s....only black guys with smooth moves could pull them off in my opinion "

My formative years…..great experiences and discoveries. Looking back were the golden years no worries or expectations. Just free to enjoy life and be a bit hedonistic.

Seemed like life would go on forever not a care in the world. Little did we know what was in front of us lol

Yes, we had outside toilet, freezing in the winter.

No central heating, and only one fire place in the whole house that of course, to those that don't know, burned coal.

The music was amazing, glam rock was cool, The Sweet, Roxy Music, Bolan, Bowie, Gary Glitter. Some good tv stars as well I wonder what happened to them all, that Jimmy guy and that guy with the didgeridoo

Passed my driving test and got my first real job. Had some real money to spend for the first time too. Out at clubs, weekends away with mates without having to explain how I was paying for it. Good times!

Happy memories of a wonderful 1970’s childhood in what seemed to be more carefree times. All I was interested in was football; sex came much later!
