Does anyone remember the small ads in the local paper pre internet? (meets M4M etc)

You would reply to a PO box and hopefully get a reply and arrange a meet. (It actually worked really well for me) Albeit you had to wait a couple of weeks!

One of the most exciting things for me was the undressing and seeing cocks pointing North, rather than nowadays having seen multiple naked pictures online already.

Loot was my favourite - met 2 couples on there where i fucked the wife in front of the hubby, and met many guys

The thrill of not knowing the cock size, whereas they are all on show now

Craigslist used to have a meet-up section (all genders!). Unfortunately disappeared years back.

I did get a few meets from it

I found it so much easier and a lot more fun to meet up with other men for cock fun… If I was looking then I could find it within walking distance from pretty much anywhere!

Parks, public toilets, river side walks, countryside trails. Woodland, cafes, car parks and so many other places.

Yes all those places. As a lad I'd go out for a wander and I'd get approaches from several men.

Almost every park and woods....

I lived by the sea and the seafront at night was for meeting people.

It was a contact sport.

Met several guys via small ads in the local paper (Northern Echo). Used to be quite a few men for men advertising. Interesting way of contacting others. You had to be able to use a pen & paper & a photo booth lol.

I had little adds in Capital Adult, The Sport, The Informer, Free ads, Exchange & Mart not to mention cards in telephone boxes back in the day. Not all at the same time though 😂

There used to be all kinds of swingers mags back in the late seventies, titles like Vibrations and Silk Swingers to name a couple.

Contact magazines and then direct contact magazines. They had actual phone numbers in. Mind you the majority of advertiser's were professional sex workers.

Life was generally easier before we had the Internet to make our lives easier.

And we had more time too, before all these time saving devices were invented

I was quite fascinated with contact magazines. I was too young to do anything, but reading the adverts was still a turn on for a young lad.

Before mobiles it would be notes in the woods going back regularly hoping someone found your note and left a reply often sex magazines would be swopped

Thats all gone now even crusing spots guys sit on their phone trying to sort a meet without getting out of the car

It was better in the days before mobiles and internet

If you was lucky enough to bump into a willing guy you just had fun

There were lots more public loo's with mysterious messages scrawled on the cubicle walls. Some led to wonderful meets with me in my mums/sisters underwear while some old guy got all hot and bothered.

Had a few meets via the local newspaper ads. Took time and often expensive phone calls. Also had a couple of meets via the ads in Gay Times and, at one time, there was a Teletext page as well

They were good times, lots of action. Some of the best I remember (it was a long time ago)

A guy I met wanted to get to know me and we played squash together. Lots of fun in the shower.

Tall skinny guy with a massive dick

A very cute curly haired guy who became a regular fwb.

And a local guy who was into rubber and liked to be filmed.

Great times, happy memories.

"Contact magazines and then direct contact magazines. They had actual phone numbers in. Mind you the majority of advertiser's were professional sex workers. "

I remember the contact magazines where you had to include a letter and SAE for the magazine to forward on...what a long process that was!
