Exfoliate before shaving, rinse with cool water...then moisturiser,moisturiser and more moisturiser.

I don't shave down there anymore and now use a depilatory cream when I want to go smooth, and the one I use is called no hair crew, doesn't stink like veet does, no risk of nicks and no course hair ends, less chance of ingrown hairs too.

I know that doesn't help you for right now, but something to think about for the future.

If you have any Aloe Vera gel that will help calm the irritation.

Dermol lotion, get it from the pharmacy counter, about £11 for 500ml lasts for ages. No spots, no itchng.
