A wooden footstool. Made by my woodwork teacher uncle when he was training at Loughborough in the 1950s. It has an upholstered top covered in material woven by his sister my mother. I remember it being in various family houses throughout my life. Sadly neither of them are with us but the stool remains as a reminder of them & the places its lived.
