Read this online. How times have changed. Wouldn't say it was the most gay friendly country in the world before Erdogan and his Islamic Party took control, but it was certainly more easy going. Back in the '90s a gay friend went to Turkey 2 or 3 times a year for a holiday. Said he spent most of his time having sex with handsome and very willing young Turkish guys. Think some might have charged a nominal fee, but no one batted an eyelid about it.
