The World Cup illustrates the differences between the two countries from a cultural perspective.

If the union is worth holding onto why is it literally everyone I know and speak to about football doesn't want England to prevail?

Aye there will be Rainjurs supporters who want England to win but I would bet heavily that the majority of Scots don't.

This post is not an attempt to antagonise. Football and politics is the issue that underpins.

Just in case the critics get the wrong end of the stick etc.. .
