He has an investigative Journalist from the Times scrutinising his dodgy background and back handers.

Other journalists are doing likewise.

Farage hates the BBC,but he would be a nobody if it was not for the BBC.

Farage broke certain rules and those rules are being investigated by committees in Parliament.

If other MPs are doing the same then they will or have been investigated too.

Trouble for Farage is he doesnt know how to answer the questions properly.

Nothing to do with establishment as his education and career path puts him right in there with establishment.

If he gets PM he has to form a Government to serve the country and uphold the laws of the land and International law.

That includes the 1951 Refugees Convention laid down in the UN.

And he says he will stop the boats ?

No chance.

He has been caught out he knows he's in trouble and despite what his cultists think he has no interest in becoming PM. He will fail to get reelected in Clacton and use it to start yet another party to carry on the grift blaming the establishment he is part of. Micheal Crick sliced and diced Farage's booming ranting gambit within seconds of its conclusion, on Sky.

He rightly pointed out that Farage creates the big red herring of the press targeting him and others for being interested in making money, which isn't a crime. But the press actually focuses on the exorbitant dubious donations to Farage, which aren't in fact examples of his own independent wealth creation.

Farage says that the £5m gift will ensure him and his family security for his lifetime. Obviously the attacks he outlined are indefensible. But I wonder if he asks himself just why he is subject to so many such attacks.

He will use immigration to try and strip us of our rights like his promises to leave the ECHR etc. How people can't see this..incidentally immigration is down and coming down further and may I remind you as a consequence of brexit we left agreements such as the Dublin Accord which allowed this country to return asylum seekers mmm remind me who championed brexit?

Lowe says restore not getting involved in the farage media circus ( so at moment it's farage v count binface ) , however restore will be standing when farage returns to parliament gets found guilty, gets suspended followed by a recall petition followed by ANOTHER by election a couple of months down the line ,,,unless of course binface wins

Dodgy dealings. Why single out Farage. Look back over the track record of Labour and Conservative politicians. It's all there. start with Robert Maxwell, a Labour politician, John Stonehouse, not to mention all the Labour and Conservatives caught out in the expenses scandal. No this is definitely a witch hunt by the establishment because they cannot deal with Reform policies. Interesting though, could end up giving millions more votes for ReformUK

Clearly, if previously Labour and Conservative politicians have been investigated by a Parliamentary process for ‘dodgy dealings’ then Farage isn’t being singled out. He’s subject to the same rules and regulations as all other MPs. By resigning, he pauses the investigation - might give him time to hide his tracks more, but he can run, but he can’t hide.

There in lies the real problem Reform policies all Farage offers is conjecture and counter arguments he never shares real meaningful fiscally sound ideas or solutions. How will they “ stop the boats?” His favourite thing to say he will do, and no mass deportation doesn’t count. How will they cope with the crisis in Childs mental health, alleviate the lack of social housing, repair a broken education system, bring in policies to give power back to the home office, rejuvenate infrastructure around the country, Scottish independence…we hear nothing about these because they aren’t sexy headline grabbing policies like Farage likes to go after. But these are national day to day issues that need looking at amongst other things. Farage is a greedy dirty man who cares nothing about apart from starting rich.

And Jenrick saying "leave poor Nige alone!"

spare us the lecture!

This from the same politician who spent years defending a Conservative government that left voters angry enough to throw it out. Now he's reinvented himself as a Reform cheerleader. It's the oldest trick in politics: when you can't defend the record, change the story.

He helped lead the part of 14 years of austerity, helped lead a Conservative Party voters completely rejected, and now he's trying to wrap Nigel Farage in the Union Jack and call every awkward question a witch hunt.

It's easier to play the victim than answer the facts.

This isn't the story of an ordinary bloke taking on the establishment. It's the story of a career political chancerleaveraging his elite connections to secure funding from powerful donors. Farage and jenrick are the type that demand everyone else is held to account yet when questions are asked about them, suddenly it's all a conspiracy!

Farage wasn't just criticised over expenses in Brussels. He was formally censured and fined. That's a matter of record.

His backed didn't pull a fast one on some doggy characters , he served time for wire fraud. Yet time and again, the answer isn't facts or even learning not to get caught!

It's another performance. Another claim that everyone is out to get "poor Nige".

Britain doesn't need another professional victim. It needs politicians who are at least straight about there own interests.

So don't judge Nigel Farage by the sound bites.

Judge him by the company he keeps, the people who fund him, and his record when the spotlight is on him.

That's not persecution.

That's accountability.

Sensible idea. The Tories are under a cloud, and wouldn't get the seat back. No-one else is even close. Binface actually stands a chance, especially if there's a low turnout due to complacent Faragistas staying at home

And Binface has good policies. Including cyclists breaking the Highway Code being forced to ride unicycles. Definitely a worthwhile reform.

Really ?

On his first day as an MP he would have been given a form that asks to declare all of his income from the previous 12 months and who he worked for,who paid him and to not speak about it for 3 months.

Every new MP has to do this.

So why was he acting so dishonestly knowing it would come up in the future ?

Maybe it was deliberate so he could say they are against me ?

Richard Tice filled his form out so did Suella Braverman.

Why did Nigel act this way ?

In his rather ridiculous, over-the-top 'prime ministerial' broadcast he said it wasn't a crime to make money. A a firm believer in free-enterprise I have to agree with his statement. However there is a massive difference between making money through hard work and enterprise than there is in being gifted vast sums of money. What did he do to warrant being given 5 million? I also heard he had 'earned' 250,000 for 12 hours 'work'. More than a lot of people earn in 5 or even 10 years. Bet he never picked up a tool or sweated one bead of sweat in 'earning' this.

The potential in splitting the vote has changed dramatically in the last few hours , yes Farage will have factored in Restore taking some of his votes but was still confident he would get enough to win BUT now that Labour,Tory ,LibDem Restore & Green refusing to take part in his publicity stunt where do their votes go ? Farage hoping they stay at home BUT what if they don't , ? What if they vote ? ,those intending to vote farage in Clacton will still vote farage but those who would vote against farage only have ,as it stands ,one option , Count Binface, every other party needs to "get their vote out" even though they are not standing ,, this is where splitting the vote may become an issue, if The Monster Raving Looney Party also stand this could benefit Farage , this being the case I believe that for the good of our country The MRLP should join with others in not putting forward a candidate leaving it a straight battle between Nigel & Binface
