After 4 and half years, there are signs that Ukraine are militarily getting on top. At the same time the Russian economy appears to be in direct straits.

Today it would seem that Donald has had a "Saul’s conversion on the road to Damascus moment" and now wants to support the Ukraine.

All of the above may put a lot of pressure on Putin.

There must be very few war leaders, who have survived a defeat.

This could be the dangerous moment an wild animal cornered will strike out without thought to anybody else.

I hope this prophecy does not come to pass, but it will be worrying time in the next 3-4 months.

Trump supports whoever last pandered to his NPD. His destabilisation of NATO is making Putin very happy, and when he's received Putin's next flood of congratulations and undying love, he will be back to undermining Ukraine too.

I hope you are correct. But Trump was so against the Ukraine when he said to Zelensky, you have no cards. Today Zelensky is his best mate. Take that into consideration and the other points, then there is still a potential dangerous time ahead.

Today is day 1596 of Putin's "Special Military Operation".

Ukraine drone attacks on Russian oli refineries, terminals and in the last few days, "Shadow Fleet" tankers in the Sea of Azov (North of the Kerch bridge) have cut Russian vehicle fuel supplies by about 25%. Military supplies are prioritised.

There are YouTube videos showing long (km long) queues at filling stations, and road tankers abandoned in dozens on road verges having run out of fuel.

Drivers are queuing for days for a max. 20L of petrol or diesel. Many fuel stations have been closed for weeks.

Fights are breaking out in vehicle queues. Plenty of YouTube videos documenting all this.

Tulsi Gabbard made a wise comment a few years back when she answered a question with "war is unpredictable".

It certainly is.

Putin is a despot. But he's a known despot.

There are those in the Russian corridors of power who are far more trigger happy.

That's not good when you have a nuclear arsenal.

Incidentally, I see that the Air Force One leaving Ankara this afternoon was one of the old ones. He used the Qatari bribe to go to the summit. Is it still there?

Ah. Thx, Reuters. He's going home on the old one while the blingjet is flown round his European bases for the grunts to admire. What a cunt.
