Simply put, how do I take the next step please?

I have a partner who I love, but our sex life is non-existent. I've always known I like men, and I now want to take the next step.

My advice would be to be very careful and just as you are giving serious considerations to taking those next steps, give serious consideration to two other things - firstly the likely consequences to your relationship if you did get found out (and trust me there's a big chance you will) and secondly whether it's worth having a conversation with your partner - an open and honest one in which you tell her what you've been feeling, assure her you've not acted on it but that you'd like to.

She may run screaming for the hills, but she may also accept this is part of you and discuss ways for you to explore it safely.

Whilst I'll not judge those that do this behind partner's backs (I did myself) I've also seen the pain it can cause when you do and it comes out.

Have you tried being around guys in a charged sexual environment like a gay sauna? You can go, see if it gets your interest, or not. There's never any expectation to get involved but you might learn something about yourself. Cant recommend any jn London though

If your head is really all over the place then maybe now isn’t the time to try something new and maybe talk to a therapist first. I did that and it really helped me accept a few things.

On the other hand after my first meet it stopped being such a big deal anymore and nowadays I just don’t worry about half the things you mention anymore.
