I'm going to Bergamo in October for 3 nights. Does anyone have any experiences they can share? I've never been to Italy before.

It's a lovely place, preferable to Milan imo.

Take the train for a day trip to Milan.

Take the cable car up to the old part of town where the university is. Incredible place and agreed it's nicer than Milan.

Just don't rent a car and try to drive in Italy

Over there they park at 45 degrees across zebra crossings and think nothing of it. Dont expect them to stop for you unless you're showing a bit of leg.

I was, and they still honked their horn at me on zebra crossing. Trying to scurry to the pavement on wet cobbles is an art in itself.

Have a place near Bergamo (20 mins) and although I am normally with family, I would welcome anybody to get in touch if nearby. Also welcome places to go that are bi friendly.

Italians dress well. Their kitchens and bathrooms won't have been decorated or modernised for decades, but they dress well.

The sauna in Verona is the best one i've ever visited, and it's full of 'straight' guys just looking to fuck whatever hole they can find. Can't remember the name of it but it's close to the red cross building.
