might do something crazy and spend a few days in amsterdam early next year. Ok so checking online seems there is only one gay sauna but browsing lots of gay bars which allow cruising/dark rooms etc. Any intel or advice from them who been? cheers all

"Went to this amazing gay sauna in Amsterdam on Sunday. Had to queue as 1 in, 1 out! Very modern and full of young, hot guys. The big sauna has a 2-way mirror into the showers! Hot!"

There are several bars with cruising areas in them, all free to get in on the condition that you buy a drink at the bar.

All in the ‘old town’ area up near Centraal Station.

Eagle - open Thursday to Sunday I think. Opens at around 8pm until around 4am. The bar is upstairs as you go in, there are some stairs at the end that go to the cruising areas underneath.

Dirty Dicks - very similar setup but open most days, is next door to The Eagle

Cuckoos Nest - this is the other side of Damrak, has lots of dark cruisy areas and a really dark dark room

The Web - this is not bad, a bit more basic though with a large area with lots of lockable private room style areas

Chvrch - this is a nightclub down towards Leidseplein. If you’re in Amsterdam on a Wednesday their naked night is something to behold. This club has several floors including some cruisy areas with beds, etc at the bottom

When are you going? I’m there January 29th-31st and could show you around 😉

I'll be in Amsterdam from 13th till 16th January. I'm always staying close to the gay sauna which is great on Tues for naked night....but also the naked night at the Church is not to be missed.

I did find the bars always a bit dodgy.

What did you find dodgy about them? I thought the ones I went into were very friendly/fun

There was one slightly odd one with underground corridors, I think that might have been Cuckoos Nest, but it seemed ok

In these cruising areas and dark rooms where everyone is fucking, I’m always a bit weary of going BB as you never know who it is you are fucking as it too dark to see

Hoping to go for a few days in the spring, just been checking booking dot thingy and plenty of hostels pretty reasonable, like under and around £100 for 4 night's. I am no big spender. A tightwad truth be told. that's for around now mind. Guessing prices rocket when weather warms up a bit?

I'm flying to AMS tomorrow (13th Jan) and staying until 17th.

Will be able to host in a 4star hotel in Central AMS, 10min walk from the Central station and 2min to the gay sauna.

Google: Sauna NZ, Amsterdam - they also have a mixed night on Wednesday.

"The Church" club is also great for guaranteed fun.
