Used to love that sleezy place when I lived in S Yorkshire. Got a lot better under new ownership. Only negative in my last visits was parking. Found on street meters only took coins and max say 2.5 hours. Got a parking ticket on a Sunday when most other town centres offer free parking. So I found a nearby off road parking that said they took cards only t find you needed to download an app . I sat in my car for 20 mins trying to register on the App which kept cutting me of because of shit phone reception. I gave up.in end abd left but again ended up paying a fine ..bastards. many years previously i did use the Tesco nearby and that was ok for a short visit.

The best town centre car park is probably the bus station multi-storey, there is also a large outdoor car park at Fitzwilliam Street….although this might be closed at the moment due to the Station works, there is Great Northern Retail Park not far away ( might be time limited ) and 10 mins walk away there is the car park next to Costa on Leeds Road which is free and not time limited. A few mins walk from Empire there is Lord Street car park but always seems to be full, very handy if you can get a free space.

Plenty of car parks around the bus station and quite cheap.

Love that walk from the car park to the cinema, eager to strip off to my lingerie and have some fun at this seedy place.
