Depends on where you're approaching DD from but the best spot is just west of Saddlescombe Farm. Drive up the steep road and you park in the car park on the right (or in the layby outside it) then walk across the road towards the wooded area, always lots of action in the summer. Alternatively the two car parks south of the pub (ie heading towards the A27) are active after dark.
