Which are the best hotels which do NOT require you to have a keycard to access rooms?

I think Premier Inns DO

I know Village Hotels DON’T

What about Holiday Inns and others?

Sometimes it depends on individual hotels, the chain might not have the same rule for all. For Holiday Inn Express I know the ones in Cambridge and Dartford don't require a key card, but the one at Stansted does.

One of my favourite things when I travel is to look on here to see who is nearby. Sometimes I find someone in the same hotel.

Premier Inn is Key card or at least the 5 I have stayed in do. But I've just met the guy in the bar & then we go up to the room have fun then I see him out the lift.

Some Village Hotels have card controlled access to the individual floors, as others have said it’s down to the individual hotels.

Some travelodges do some don't some need a ley card to enter each floor some use key card for lifts and stairs no general rule
