The trans red light is actually on the west side. The normal one is roughly in 10am direction, coming out of central station. For the trans side you want to head roughly in a 2pm direction, coming from central station. It's not a massive area, you will have to poke about a bit to find it. And keep your eyes on a swivel around there too, muggings are common place in both areas. Someone tried to mug me around that area once, but sadly for him I had a black belt in Shotokan and Judo and he just got left black and blue and bleeding all over the pavement, reconsidering his life career choices. This was many many years ago.
