I am contemplating going to Gran Canaria alone in a few weeks.

This would be the first time on my own in such a resort. I am 77, recently separated. I will need company

Do people feel that there is a good chance of the gay/bi social scene accepting/welcoming me.

Yes, there is no reason you wouldn't be accepted.

I go with my partner but there are always singles there and always enjoying themselves.
