The majority of guys on here will never have the experience of a regular boyfriend. I've been openly gay since I turned 20, in that time I've had three boyfriends the first for 9 years and with whom I am still close friends, the second for 4 years and the last for 18 years until he passed away 11 years ago and who I still miss deeply.

I'm not knocking one off or casual sex as there is a lot of fun to be had but there is a qualitive difference from the emotional bond of a regular boyfriend.
