How to get a meet?

I’m no oil painting, not everyone is, but how do you actually get to meet someone? Twice I’ve added a meeting in a local hotel, but nothing!

Same here have had some great meets but unfortunately there are a number of time wasters who take joy in giving you the wrong address or just disappear, make an excuse that they cannot meet now after traveling to the address.
