my town

So yesterday I got a message off a local guy who I thought would be a good meet.

He sent a face pic with his first message and to my horror, it was someone I’ve known for years. I know his family too and had no idea he was bi.

Anyway it kind of freaked me out a bit.

What would you lot do?

Depends...on one hand I do feel that engaging with people you know can lead to awkward situations in the future..

But he is bi and on here, you are on here...therefore after the same things, probably both need to be discreet.

Sometimes knowing the other person can take some.of the nerves and tension away, and also make it easier to arrange meets..

Go with your gut Hun xx

Awkward - horny - but still awkward

I’d probably not reply. Could lead to further issues and awkwardness further down the line …..

I quite enjoy the idea of getting a face pic off a guy and realising I already know him.

Never happened and also not sure what I would do if it did!

Had similar experience with someone from work. Both agreed best if we didn’t start anything. We just avoid each other at work now lol x

Happened to me, I worked with this guy and immediately my gaydar picked him up, arranged a meet with someone who later turned out to be this guy, went to his house and he was shaking like a leaf and suggested we should meet another time? We never did and never spoke about it again, just avoided each other at work X

Well, OP has now views on the matter that sit on the two opposite sides of opinion. Tricky. I averted a similar situation, with a local guy. Really nice profile and pics, clearly intelligent, articulate and eminently decent; both had similar interests, opinions and outlook on a variety of topics (politics, culture, sex, current affairs, life) All this on chat here. And did I say he's 🔥? I was chuffed and intrigued he'd even take any interest in humble me, but heck🤷🏽‍♂️. Then, from loose comments and odd observations, we started to realise we moved in very similar circles, knew same people and frequented same places. And then, horror of horrors: his wife (!) has some form of professional relationship with my partner...and in fact he knows my partner! 🙈, and he knows *of* me, apparently, but we've never met, or so he says. We both realised it was all a bit awkward and decided to drop it Part of me regrets it, but most of me sighs in relief.

... really? 🤔🤷🏽‍♂️

Had something like this happen to me. My profile isn’t hugely subtle so when he messaged it was a bit of a shock

Torn between the opportunities it might open up and the panic of the trouble it could cause…it’s a dilemma!!!

Maybe if someone reached out with an ‘I know you and it’s OK, I need discretion just as much as you do’ then the worlds your oyster!!

I bumped into a guy at a sauna.

An hour I was at his house carrying out a repair.

There we was both naked and hard.

I smiled and sucked his cock.

So horny

I came across exactly that. Guy lived 2 minutes away .blocked him immediately.

Not remotely fanciable anyway but too many potential problems

According to the "who's ear" there are a couple on here that live about a two minutes walk from where I live. That equates to the same road. I've often felt curious to find out
